Swatch me: MAC Extra Dimension Skinfinish

Buying makeup online can feel like a daunting exciting experience. Especially when it comes to finding the right shade of colour.

But I feel MAC cosmetic is a universal brand that everyone has at least one product from there that they swear by! So when MAC has an amazing offer of 25% off, I decided to stock up on my favourite products and try this out new highlighter which MAC launched a few months back.

I was super impressed with the service. After ordering online I got my stuff in less then 36 hours. It was so well packed. Each product was individually wrapped in bubble paper for extra safety.

Extra Dimension Skinfinish Highlighter

I had never swatched this before, but if anyone does makeup products right, it's MAC. This highlighter has a creamy powder formula. Extra Dimension Skinfinish has four shades to choose from.

Shades

1. Bleaming blush - A blossoming pink with a gold sheen

2. Double Gleam -A beige with a silver lining

3. Soft frost - A gorgeous pearly white with violet rays

4. Show Gold - A supple peach with pink hues

My Favourite

I chose the shade Double Gleam as I knew this would compliment my deep skin tone. Lighter colour highlighters tend to look frosty and grey on my skintone. But this colour seems to be wonderful for everyone.

How to apply?

When applying this highlighter, I would recommend using a fan brush or your finger tips. The key to highlighting is placement(click here to learn more about placement and highlighting) and if you use a big fluffy brush, you might accidentally highlight your whole face (and you don't want to look like a bulb at the party)
